Terms of Service for Hoshi: Star Sudoku

1. Scope

These Terms apply to the Hoshi: Star Sudoku mobile app.

2. Use and Hoshi Account

You may use the app without an account. A Hoshi Account is optional. On Android, we offer sign-in with Google; Sign in with Apple is intended for iOS once it becomes available there. The account provides profile features and allows a Pro purchase to be associated with the account on supported devices. It does not synchronise game saves, progress, or virtual content.

You may use only your own account and must not misuse or manipulate security, purchase, or account functions.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

Before a purchase, the store displays the price, term, scope of service, renewal, and cancellation options. Purchases and subscriptions are concluded and billed through Apple or Google; the terms of the relevant store apply. Subscriptions renew unless you cancel them in the store in time. Deleting an account does not cancel a subscription or delete local game saves. Uninstalling the app deletes locally stored game saves but likewise does not cancel a subscription. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

4. Availability and changes

We may change the app for technical, security-related, legal, or functional reasons. We will inform you in good time about material adverse changes where legally required. Statutory rights in relation to digital products remain unaffected.

5. Rules for use

You must not use the app unlawfully, circumvent security measures, or impair other users. Virtual content and Hoshi Stars have no monetary value, are non-transferable, and may be lost when you uninstall the app.

6. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and damage arising from injury to life, body, or health. In the event of a slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, we are liable only for foreseeable damage typical for the contract. In all other respects, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

7. Termination and final provisions

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. You may delete your account in the app through “Settings” → “Account” → “Delete account” or in accordance with our account-deletion instructions. German law applies. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. The current version is available at https://yakuma.de/en/games/hoshi/legal/terms-of-service.
